I've installed SLES-7 Beta on a VM system and I want to get JAVA2 SDK up and running. I downloaded version 1.3.1 SR3 from
https://www6.software.ibm.com/dl/lxdk/lxdk-p and installed succesfully via YAST. Yet I cannot find the directory that it was installed to and it seems as though it is not currently active on my system since a JAVA -version tells me command not found. Do I need to do something to make JAVA active after doing the install of the RPM? Any help would be appreciated.
