Not pico.

It lacks some very trivial features (undo, goto-line, etc.). Avoid it.

It is worth taking the time to learn vi and/or emacs (holy wars aside.
Enough was written about those two. My personal prefernce is vim).

But even if you find those two to unintuitive, you should try joe, mcedit
(of mc), jed or even nano (a better pico clone). Each of them is certainly
better than pico. pico is only partially optimal for mail editing ;-) .
