Hello, JDK 1.4 for zLinux on a Red Hat 2.4.17 (31bits) works and the IBM JVM 1.4 solution too.

Mark Post -----Original Message----- From: Chet Norris [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, February 18, 2003 9:50 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: JDK on RH 7.2 I have RedHat 7.2, 2.4.9-37, installed and running under z/VM. After a year I finally have an application deemed "testable" by senior management for proof of concept for production, but it requires JDK 1.4. Evidently, I don't have JAVA installed as part of the RH7.2 base. When I enter'java' I get 'command not found'. What do I need to get JDK 1.4 active? Where do I get it? Does the 2.4.9-37 kernel support it? ===== Chet Norris Marriott International,Inc. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
