I've seen problems like that when there are multiple paths to a dasd device
and one path is offline in VM. Try getting all available paths to those
devices both physically and logically online before IPLing Linux.

I have defined dasd to my linux server using dedicate statements in the
directory. (no mdisk)
DEDICATE 0127 0A00
DEDICATE 0128 0A01
When I start my Linux instance up, I receive the following error:

The disk functions as normal under LINUX.
Any ideas what the Subchannel message means?
Thanks.

Neale's updated 0.19 RPMs are now available on the linuxvm.org web site.
If
you download all four of them, you're looking at 8.6MB.

I am going to install MONO. Looking around I see release 0.19 is available
on the 86 platform.
The latest I have seen for S/390 is release 0.16.
Does anyone know if 0.16 is the latest release?
Thanks,
