I have placed cmsfs-1.1.7.tar.gz on ftp.bmc.com.
The utility is still largely the same, but now should build
on OpenVM as well as on ASCII based UNIX (Linux, Solaris, etc).
The driver works with the 2.4.19 kernel. Sadly, the driver
in this release does NOT work with 2.4.7 or 2.2.x kernels.
I'm still working on that. (Keeping up with the kernels is a pain!)

Here's a fun fact:
In a two-cylinder 3390 formatted for CMS (with default blocksize of 4K)
the minidisk filesystem is exactly 1474560 bytes, the size of a floppy.
That means, theoretically, that you could stamp a CMS FS image
onto a floppy and 'mount -t cms'. Still a little work to do
to handle the different blocksizes (floppy defaults to 1K).
But hopefully soon!
