If you only want to use device numbers 806-807 for eth0, then put this in /etc/chandev.conf: noauto;lcs0,0x0806,0x0807,0,0 Mark Post -----Original Message----- From: Oswaldo Ferreira de Matos [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 1:17 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RES: change OSA address, again Hi Mark, I have only comments in the /etc/chandev.conf. If the device numbers are in there, I believe that is the only file you'll need to change.
