In other words, simply pass the frame and let the guest figure out the
protocol details.  And don't involve IBM in writing the multiprotocol
support, since that code already exists in Linux.

I bet Alan is going say that zSeries CPU cycles are too expensive to
waste on letting the guest figure out the protocol.
