CP Commands from Linux

My apologies if this is an FAQ, but a quick Google search didn't turn up
anything obvious.  I'm a newbie with Linux/390, having just installed
RHL 7.2 this week.  Is there a method of issuing CP commands via program
or Rexx (Regina) command from Linux?  Seems like an obvious thing to
want to do...  TIA.
