Greg: <personal opinion on> Because most of the computer press is computer illiterate! They may know a (little) about Windows, but when it comes to any more complex system, they are way out of their depth. Note that this is not a recent problem. I have seen this in press articles throughout my 30 years at IBM! I must say however that the press is getting better.
