You could use DB2 Connect enterprise edition on the Linux/390 instead of
the full blown UDB product. You can get DB2 Connect EE for a trial I
suspect, if you contact your IBM sales representative. Works faboo for us.

| Subject: DB2 UDB??? and Linux/390
|
>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Ladies and Gentleman,
I need help, maybe you can Help or redirect me.
On one of our LPARs we have Linux/390 running.
We have a few developers which want to test same
applications there.
Therefor we need DB2 UDB?? for Linux/390.
I found a IBM Page to download the trial Version, but I
guess this DB2 there is for Intel not /390.
I checked a few binarys with
the file command and they are executable for Intel 80386.
Is there a trial Version DB2 UDB ??? for Linux/390
available from IBM ????
Best regards and thanks for any response
