Hi Adam:

Maybe it wasn't clear but I've said in my first post :-)) :

addrconf_lock
in6_dev_finish_destroy

Those are both in addrconf in the ipv6 code.

Is the ipv6 module loaded?

Or, hmmm, you had that compiled into the kernel, didn't you?

Sure.

Maybe try compiling with ipv6 as a module, then try modprobe ipv6, and
then see if qeth loads.

Well... I gonna try, but does not make much sense. It should be easier to debug if qeth was GPL. :-)

Again:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] linux-2.4.19]# nm --extern-only vmlinux | egrep
"addrconf_lock|in6_dev_finish_destroy"
002a4b20 D addrconf_lock
0019ba3c T in6_dev_finish_destroy

So, loading should work. I'm wondering if it's a modutils issue.
But at "May 2002 stream" web page is said that modutils wasn't patched.
So I'm considering it's ok.

Thanks a lot, bests regards
