The IBM Enterprise Storage Server (aka Shark) has the ability to create
3390 format volumes of up to 32,760 cylinders. This is three times the
capacity of a 3390-9, thus the 3390-27! This was announced on 2001-11-13
in letter http://www.ibmlink.ibm.com/usalets&parms=H_101-341
