The others have mentioned using "grep" or "find" and "grep". I'd suggest
using "fgrep" instead if you are not doing a "regular expression" search. It
is just a bit faster. Perhaps not significantly, but I'm too used to cycles
being expensive and shared to not use the slightly more efficient when it is
not really difficult.
