I have a question. For each volume to be used by zLinux, I am using ICKDSF
under CMS to do a CPVOLUME FORMAT of the entire volume. I then make a
minidisk on that volume which is the entire volume starting at cylinder 1.
This is to ensure that Linux cannot destroy the VOL1 (sorry, but I'm
paranoid about my volume labels). In any case, after the CPVOLUME FORMAT is
complete, the minidisk is LINKed to the zLinux image. I then do a "dasdfmt"
followed by a "mkfs".

My question is, since I am doing the "dasdfmt" under zLinux, can I get away
will only doing a CPVOLUME FORMAT of cylinder 0? Is there any need to
CPVOLUME FORMAT the rest of the disk, which will be formatted again by
zLinux? If not, that will save me a LOT of time!
