This is a very optimistic statement. I have a little Linux experience, but am having a hard time just getting a basic system installed to run the vmssld daemon. I have fixes from the TCP/IP site for IUCV and the vmssld for SuSE 2.4.7 Kernel but there are issues with what exact packages to download and install on a 250 Cylinder Linux IPL Volume.
I have a client that wants to do this and they have a client that is willing to pay money for our information, but wants it over a Secure FTP line. Are you using http://www.vm.ibm.com/pubs/pdf/fzaa3a00.pdf This manual contains the following paragraph: "The SSL server runs on the Linux operating system, which runs as a guest in the SSL server virtual machine. This Linux operating system is specially configured to support only the SSL application; general use of this Linux operating system is not supported. No knowledge of Linux is required to configure the SSL server or to perform any SSL server administration functions." Is this statement on the optimistic side?
