They should work just fine.  If you want to make sure, have someone at your
microfiche producer digitally sign an email to you.  Using their public key,
you should be able to use gpg to verify it.

But, just how compatable are they?  I haven't found any statement in

The company that produces our microfiche says they support pgp.  From
our position, gpg is free (comes loaded on Suse 8).  Free is good.

Just wanted to understand any compatability considerations prior to
spending time rolling gpg into production applications.
