In an attempt to leave no stone undisturbed, I downloaded the Debian vmrdr files and tried to start it up. I get to the point of defining the CTCA for the network, and it asks for a protocol number. I've tried all four, but I can't get past the attempt to ping my gateway; It doesn't seem to see the network.
I've defined everything in much the same way I have for RedHat and SuSE, and I'm not to a point where I can enter any commands of my own, so I'm not sure what to do to begin debugging this.
