In reference to  John's question:

Yes, we are definitely aware of Red Hat's change with regard to the end
of life of their free OSes. What disturbs me more is their silence (as
far as I've noticed) regarding the fate of their linux/390 port. I once
saw a mention in an email that the next mainframe release would be
Advanced Server only, but I've never seen any official comment from RH
itself. If anyone has any further details, I would be very interested in
hearing them, as our RH 7.2 systems are rapidly approaching unsupported
status.

OT, I was wondering how many of you (if any) are using the linux/390
port of Listserv? It was a member of our organization who convinced
L-Soft to release this port and we are wondering if anyone else uses it.
We would feel more secure about the possibility of future releases if
other shops are using it.
