Well, I finally got a workable solution and found a couple kernel critters along the way. So, I thought I'd put together a small package that contains the scripts to get both feedback and maybe give someone else something to play with.
They seem to work fine and connections stay alive while the failover is active. There are delays, but at least they stay alive. But, I will be doing more testing and will try to get some different failure types in the mix as well. Anyway, the package can be found at: http://www.homerow.net/projects/zlinux/vipa_helpers.htm Feel free to give feedback. Heck you can even call me a stoopid idiot if you know of a better way of doing it. I like that sort of thing. ;-) Leland
