Ok, so let's not have Linux joining a Sysplex -- to me, the processing paradigms are just too different between Linux and MVS for it to be of much use anyway (is there anything in USS that exploits Parallel Sysplex?). But what about just having support for the Coupling Facility? Linux systems could attach, build structures, and share data without necessarily having anything to do with any of the other Parallel Sysplex stuff that the MVS guys put in there. Might help introduce new and different ways to do clustering and workload sharing between Linux systems in different CECs. Cheers, Vic
