FUD. He is highly unlikely to be able to produce any IBM whitepaper that says that. The OSA design team has not authored any such statement; we simply don't disclose security issues in that fashion. The only security consideration I can think of is that when sharing a port, any LP-LP traffic will not leave the OSA, and hence cannot be filtered or altered, by the switch.
