Folks,
I posted here about trying use a cross compiler, the other week, and had a
few helpful responses. Thank you for those.
However, I have been trying for the intervening time to no avail .(Yes, I
did even try the suggestion of using Hercules - it crashed). I either get
problems with compiling the gcc for s390x or problems getting the kernel to
compile.
Rather than asking about specific problems, has anyone a recipe (versions
and patches plus ./configure statements) that work to get a cross compiler
working.
I would like to compile a 64bit (s390x) zLinux kernel from a 586 pc.
Many thanks
Phil
