You could check out the IBM RMFPM tool zLinux version
Last time I went their it was at:

It has 2 components the server goes on zLinux and the client on win or
linux PC.
 Server: Linux Version 2.4 or 2.2    IBM S/390 or IBM zSeries or Intel x86
architecture
 Client:  Windows NT, Windows 9x, Linux capable running Java 1.3
