Apparently we are getting serious enough about Single Signon Security (SSS) that we are bringing venders in. I've been asked to join in to represent the mainframe side.
Most of our SSS on the mainframe revolves around VSE and the use of Top Secret. I don't think that is a problem. But, now the Linux side..... 1. Do, can, Linux users play in the SSS world? 2. Is there SSS software that runs on Linux/390 servers? Perhaps instead of bringing in a few NT boxes, we will just host it on the mainframe. 3. Is a SSS Server a good fit for Linux/390? If it uses a lot of CPU and/or memory, it might not be a good fit for us. I would be interested in any experiences and/or problems others have had, even if it wasn't on Linux/390 or mainframe platforms. Thanks Tom Duerbusch THD Consulting
