And I own the concept of electronic text distribution over a network of
electronic devices, including but not limited to, computers.

Seriously, email is/was (the company may have decided it's a lost cause)
of an Australian whitegoods manufacturer of that name.

They saw off Australia Post which introduced an email service some years
ago, and AP's service is now epost.
