Hi Alex, Two things I can think of.
1st- Terse is an IBM Service Tools offered to Mainframe customer to permit the compression/decompression of PTFs. If I recall correctly the records of the input file to be de-terse must be Fixed Length of exactly 1024 byte long. Again if I remember well, the last record is padded to 1024. I presume that your PTF should be made of fixed length records of each 80 bytes. You could copy your actual file into a file with record length of 1024 and try it again. 2nd- If you need help with this tool, you could ask the ISC (IBM Support Centre) which should be able to help you.
