I am having problems creating another volume group.

This is on a SuSE 7.2 system.

We have had one volume group, lvm1, defined for sometime now.

I now need to create another volume group, lvm2, and am not

having much success.

I have two 3390-3's, /dev/dasdj and /dev/dasdk which I ran

dasdfmt and pvcreate with no problems.

But when I do a pvscan, sometimes all dasd volumes display,

and sometimes they don't. Four volumes total should display.

See below. 

The vgcreate command also fails.

Any ideas?
