Unless it was changed at install time, DB2 will, by default, listen on 50000 and up. On the machine where DB2 connect is installed, issue netstat -l. Look for db2cdb2inst1, if it's there, then DB2 Connect is listening. Then 'grep db2cdb2inst1 /etc/services', this should tell you which port DB2 is listening on.
