FAQ:

Certifications on SuSE SLES8:

WebLogic 6.1 SP5 (Server)
WebLogic 7.0 SP4 (Platform) (estimated January 2004)
WebLogic 8.1 SP1 (Server)
WebLogic 8.1 SP2 (Platform) (TBD)

Certifications on SuSE SLES7:

WebLogic 6.1 SP5 (Server)
WebLogic 7.0 SP1 (Server)

Certifications on Red Hat 7.2:

WebLogic 6.1 SP3 (Server)
WebLogic 7.0 SP1 (Server)

All certifications are 31-bit only, so far.

We had one customer successfully run WebLogic on 64-bit SLES7, and
everything worked except the native code stuff, which had not been
ported, but we don't support this environment. There is no reason
why we couldn't do a full 64-bit port and cert if there was a
demand for it (really really big apps, anyone?)

I would be happy to answer any mainframe system requirements and
installation questions and take any suggestions you may have.

Jim
