The new redpaper entitled: "Building SuSE SLES8 Systems Under z/VM" it states:
snip.... One approach would be to install the "Minimum Graphical System"; this takes approximately 360 MB of an ext3 filesystem using SLES8. You could then add additional minidisks to your guest as required. ....unsnip I tried installing SLES8 into a 1.1GB MDISK yesterday and got message: "Not enough disk for even a minimal installation" And...the SOFTWARE selection window is blank...and does not allow me to trim down my software selection to fit into my 1.1.GB....or choose "minimum graphical system". Can anyone shed some light? I know that my experiences with this message have been very frustrating. We've gotten this message at times for errors that are not even related to disk space. Sure would be nice to have a verbose mode installation for SLES8...so we could debug these errors that constantly pop up during install time....
