I've done some more testing and I'm getting so many different results without a noticable pattern that I'm just gonna stick with the 20KB MTU for now. I "seems" to work the best. But, I did get something good out of the deal. I figured I might as well upgrade to z/VM 4.4 to see what (if any) difference it would make.
