thanks for the information. The company in question was ah.. "somewhat
disappointed" that their favourite application would not run � la 64 on the
z800 (z/VM 4.3, SLES8). I hope this happens soon, as they are a recent
convert to the "way things should be done" - excuse the plug.

IBM plans to offer a 64-bit DB2 for Linux on zSeries. I can't say when
this is coming, but it is a priority for us.
