Lots of us have probably seen the situation where an IT department has Win/NT workstations and a Win/NT server. You go up to any PC, select the domain, enter your userid and p/w and then login. You can then logout, go to any other PC in the building, enter the same info and login on that PC, thereby getting your profile and access to your private files on that PC.
Q: What's the Linux equivalent?
I've had a look round linuxvm.org and tried a few web searches but not come up with anything. Ideas or pointers to papers that describe someone who's done this very welcome.
