Well, something's broken. Looking through the logs I often see bad magic (tdb) errors on SuSE SLES8 SP3, and a smbstatus will sometimes report bad magic for connections or sessions or some other tdb. Even shutting down, removing those tdb's, and having them regenerated from scratch during startup is only good for so long before I start seeing the errors again. > You might want to re-build Samba specifying -DDEBUG to turn > on debugging, at > least in the TDB code. I see a -DTDB_DEBUG that I could set to -DTDB_DEBUG=1 in the tdb Makefile, though I don't see that this actually does anything :\. Where's the -DDEBUG that you're referring to?
