If you're talking about sharing that read-only disk between guests, then
there is no single presentation that covers that in gory detail.  It's quite
a complex task, to say the least.  If you just want to move /usr off to it's
own file system, then look at http://linuxvm.org/Info/HOWTOs/movefs.html
