Huh. I knew that trick worked on the virtual TOD clock, but didn't know it
would work on the real one. The VM initialization code for setting the
time/date always seems to trigger the need for the HW console entry to
enable writing to the real TOD clock. Learn something new every day, I
guess.

Do you need TODENABLE in the directory entry -- obviously anyone shouldn't
be able to do this.

I would like to see that code...
