Ok so then everyday when a new Windows virus comes out we get mailed and told to go to Microsoft's update site. I think this service would be way to "noisy". "It's telling me to update my virus definitions and patch my system everyday." Course on the brighter side, consumers may get the idea that a Windows machine is not the most maintenance free computer they could have bought.
