When using YAST2 to manage a network on a linux machine, any change to
the network
will bring down all network interfaces! IS this fixed in a subsequent
version of YAST2?
Current version is

yast2-theme-SuSELinux-2.6.8-0

linux machine running SUSE SLES8 with two OSA cards attached. Network is: eth0 172.27.194.153 eth1 172.27.94.153

VIPAs on eth1:
eth1:1 172.27.88.220
eth1:2 172.27.88.221
eth1:3 172.27.88.222

When YAST2 is used for "network basic" activites, any activity, it
brings down then entire network!
If we do manual commands do bring down/up/change any portion of the
network, we do not bring down the network.
Any relief in a recent YAST2?
Thanks,
David Kreuter
