Like I said, the problems have all been on the hardware side.  The guys who manage it 
haven't been able to get the port names, etc. properly defined so we can see them.  
Our attempts have been
intermittent with long delays in between due to other priorities.

So by "hardware", I guess I actually mean "hardware administration".
