FWIW, I *hate* it. Especially with those who don't have the patience or the e-mail client to clean up their reply; we already now have posts that have 3 of those footers in it. This is ugly hack and I find it much worse than half a dozen people who ask on the list or send the unsubscribe to the list itself.
