Hi Folks,

Apologies for the huge delay in getting this information out, I've been
tied up with a z/VM 4.4 migration and Disaster Recovery exercise.

NEUVM presented it's Winter Meeting on January 13, 2004 at Lombardo's in
Randolph, Massachusetts to an audience of about 50 Linux/390 and VM'ers.
It was a great time, and we at NEUVM all hope you benefited from the
outstanding technical presentations by Phil Smith III, David Boyes and
Alan Altmark. Their presentations are now online at
http://www.neuvm.org/meetings.php. Note: We've had a few reports of
the PDF's not rendering correctly in certain browsers, if you have a
problem viewing the presentation materials online, just right-mouse
click on the URL and use "Save Target As" to save the PDF to your hard
drive.

In addition to the technical presentations, it was emphasized that NEUVM
needs input from it's members - and to that end we ask all NEUVM members
to please conduct the brief survey at http://www.neuvm.org/survey.php.
NEUVM may be able to offer regional technical education for it's
members, but we need to determine if there is an interest in doing so.

As a volunteer organization, NEUVM could use your help! If you have a
business or technical skill that you might volunteer use of, it would be
much appreciated.

We are in the process of planning the NEUVM Spring 2004 Meeting,
tentatively scheduled for sometime in May 2004. Please complete the
survey referenced above (and as a link off of the www.neuvm.org home
page) now, and help shape NEUVM into the organization that you'd like it
to be.
