I was extrapolating based on the fact that both the 1k and 4k filesystems filled at 54%.
So, I've tried to up the inode sizes. I can specify a large number (> 2M) for the 1k and I get 1,654,784 inodes, but I only am able to get 622,592 inodes for the 4k blocks. (-N 2,000,000 -i 8192). Yet there are more blocks on the 4k side. Why can't I get more inodes on the 4k size? ===== Jim Sibley RHCT, Implementor of Linux on zSeries "Computer are useless. They can only give answers."
