SCHEDULE is a nice tool for functions I want to run in my own virtual machine. For disjointed, unassociated functions that cover the entire zVM system, I prefer to use the VMUTIL server built from Kris Buelens [EMAIL PROTECTED] RXSERVER kernel that is available from the IBM Downloads webpage. There are interactive commands for authorized users to manipulate the Timer Queue without interrupting the VMUTIL server.
