Nothing, but this is for people that don't have SUSE's packages. It's just that I can't test on anything other than SUSE, and I cooked it up myself, so I can make it available without any qualms.
Ah. You confused me by saying you had to build it yourself and then produced one for SuSE only. Be aware that part of cpint is shipped in the k_deflt of SuSE, so you might not notice when your package is missing the kernel module or not producing one that matches the kernel. Shipping a kernel module in an rpm package is a royal PITA because you need different versions for each kernel. Because SuSE keep the kernel version the same for different updates, you may be able to get away with old versions on your new kernel.
