We exceeded the threshold for daily number of posts. I've freed up 23 pending missives, and we're back live and on-air now.
This can happen to any LISTSERV-based list. It happens from time to time with the mainframe HLASM list, [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The list 'owner' or in this case 'janitor' specifies a daily posting maximum/threshold that when exceeded shuts down the list temporarily (without, usually, loss of over-threshold posts, which are saved).
Everyone who uses a LISTSERV-based list should be familiar with this feature; it obviates paranoia.
