No.  If you want more information we just had a big discussion on this either last 
week or the week before.  I am too lazy to check the archive myself.

I just formatted a new "mod-27" with dasdfmt -b 4096. 

I was shocked to see: 

/dev/dasdg1           23216892        20  22037520   1% /mnt


23.2 Gb???  The mod-27 is supposed to have 25.9 Gb of space.  Is there a better 
blocksize to use without wasting 2.7 Gb of space?
