I have an small web application that was developed on a laptop with WAS5.0 web
studio and DB2. They decided to install it on my Z800 Linux LPAR running WAS 5.0.2 and
DB2 8.1. It installed OK as best as I can tell. I set up the JDBC provider and the
data source. I also setup the J2C Authentication. The system binds the jdbc. I tested
the connection and it connects, But when I go to the browser and bring up the
application and try to bring in the data from the data base nothing appears. I looked
in SysemOut log and the following message is logged -

ConnectionFac I J2CA0122I: Resource reference jdbc/LIBSRVRX could not be located, so
default values of the following are used: [Resource-ref settings]

But prior to this message I can see the bind message --

ResourceMgrIm I WSVR0049I: Binding AIX-CONNECTION as jdbc/LIBSRVRX

Does anyone have any recommendations???????? I have beat my head against the wall
till I am bleeding.
