Linux does not have the ability to directly read VSE files and volumes. I am not VSE literate, but if VSE has the ability to do an "NFS Export", then Linux can do an "NFS Import" of those files and so read and/or write them. NFS is the "Network File System" and uses TCP/IP to send the read/write requests from Linux to a VSE system which owns the file(s) and has an NFS server.
