I have installed Oracle 9i on SLES8 under ZVM 4.3 with 256 m of storage. This was a function/compatibility test, not a performance test. My V-Disk was 30000, the only problem I encountered was with the universal installer requiring JDK. Somewhere I read that it was recommended that the SWAP file be twice the size of the defined memory for that Oracle box. I had a swap file of 2 gig defined on that system. I only did that because I was told it would NOT work.
