True enough, but the world is in motion and one HELL of a lot more people are driving the PDF interface than the Bookmangler interface. Examples? I have the zArchitecture Principles of Operation, the z/OS Message Library and the various operator references on a 128MB MMC card in my cellphone. In PDF form, naturally. I have PDF+ from mBrain Software installed. I have around 500 IBM manuals and presentations in PDF, Powerpoint and Lotus Freelance stored on my laptop. All these files are indexed using dtSearch - it's a tremendous knowledge base. I don't know why IBM contines to maintain Bookmangler. PDF is outstripping it in functionality so fast. -- Phil Payne http://www.isham-research.com +44 7785 302 803 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
